Cookie policy
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies are currently used by the JAGS website and the options available for managing them.
I. WHAT COOKIES ARE
Cookies are small files or amounts of information stored by the browser on the User’s device when they visit a website. They temporarily retain the information required for certain technical website functions to operate correctly between requests.
IV. HCAPTCHA AND SECURITY TECHNOLOGIES
hCaptcha loads automatically on Contact to protect the form from bots, spam and automated abuse. The provider states that its service may use cookies and other technologies necessary to provide it. JAGS has not reliably observed or confirmed every internal cookie used by its cross-origin iframes.
In the current implementation, hCaptcha is considered a technology associated with necessary security and is not used for JAGS analytics, advertising or marketing.
V. GOOGLE MAPS
Google Maps is optional external content whose purpose for JAGS is to show the practice’s location. The iframe is blocked by default and loads only after selecting “Accept”. If rejected, the local fallback remains and Google Maps does not load.
When Google Maps loads, Google may use cookies and similar technologies according to its own policies. JAGS neither invents nor confirms specific Google cookie names. An accepted decision is remembered through jags-consent and can be changed from “Cookie settings”.
VI. CONSENT
On the first visit, necessary technologies remain active and Google Maps is blocked. The notice offers “Accept” and “Reject” with the same ease.
Accept enables only external Google Maps content. Reject keeps it blocked. Mere navigation through the site does not amount to consent.
The decision can be changed at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the Footer.
VII. DISABLING, DELETING OR CONFIGURING COOKIES
Users can block or delete cookies through their browser settings. The available options vary depending on the browser and device used.
Blocking essential technical cookies may prevent certain website functions—particularly the contact form, validation messages or the technical session—from operating correctly.
The external-content preference can be changed from “Cookie settings”. If Google Maps has already loaded, JAGS can remove its iframe but cannot remove cookies or storage created by a third party outside its control.
VIII. PERSONAL DATA
Where the use of a cookie or technology involves the processing of personal data, that processing will also be governed by the JAGS Privacy Policy.
IX. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY
This Cookie Policy may be updated if the website’s technical configuration changes, new cookies or services are introduced, or relevant regulatory changes occur.
